Everyone, there has been a lot of confusion about Hydroxychloroquine and filling it for Covid 19 patients. Currently, the FDA has NOT approved hydroxychloroqui...ne to be prescribed and dispensed at the retail pharmacy period, for Covid -19 positive patients. If your lucky enough to find a pharmacy to fill this prescription for a positive patient consider yourself fortunate. If it is filled NO pharmacy in their right mind will bill any insurance as they will be afraid of an audit which money can be taken back even worse lose of that insurance plans contract. Good luck even finding this drug at the pharmacy level now as it’s in short supply and extremely price gouged from the wholesaler.
