CV-TEC Celebrates National CTE Month! A Giant CV-TEC Shout Out to our Pre-CTE Food Service Students under the direction of industry expert teachers, Chef Misik and Ms. Gillespie! Check out Chef Misik's lesson with our AA group on making sunny-side-up eggs. Every student was able to make and eat their own eggs with Chef's assistance, following two days of "EGGSELLENT" farm-to-table lessons about egg biology, egg production/industry, eggs in cooking & baking, and finally, COOKING! This week, besides sunny-side-up eggs, they learned how to make hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fritattas, omeletes and even poached eggs! Needless to say, they are becoming "EGGSperts"! CV-TEC Celebrates National CTE Month! Check out our CV-TEC Mineville Campus Construction Trades students competing against each other in our local SkillsUSA Competition. Our electrical students completed an underground, overhead, 30-amp equipment disconnect, and a lighting circuit. Our carpentry students completed a wall plate layout, common rafter calculation and cutting, and ripping with a SkillSaw and crosscut with SkillSaw. Such a wonderful demonstration of amazing skills!!
