Yesterday Andrew Yang, New York City Mayoral candidate and former Presidential candidate, visited and toured the Crystal Windows’ New York factory. During his visit, to one of the nation’s largest window manufacturers, Yang had the opportunity to view in person the operations of Crystal’s 370 employees at the 205,000 sq. ft. facility. During conversations with Crystal’s Chairman Thomas Chen and President Steve Chen, the candidate learned of the company’s humble beginnings, enormous success, ability to overcome numerous challenges, and great economic and philanthropic contributions to New York City. Recently our R&D/ Engineering Department has qualified to use the NFRC Component Modeling Approach Program and its online directory services. This tool will give Crystal the edge in the project design and specification phase to estimate and optimize selections of window types, configurations, glazing options, and frame and spacer components to maximize overall window energy performance and energy efficiency ratings. This will allow the engineering team to make the best decisions for our fenestration products and accomplish endless customer desires while meeting energy code and energy performance with their perspective budgets. #madeinusa #crystalwindows

Crystal windows supplied over 100 of their energy-efficient aluminum windows combination of the 5100, 5600, 8510, and 8500 series windows to the Roslyn Highlands Fire Department station located in Roslyn Heights, NY. Original wood windows were replaced with modern aluminum windows that gave the station a modern feel that will help reduce energy expenses and enhance the interior daylight. Our customer Bluesky Windows of New York provided the installation services for the fire department's renovation. The Roslyn Fire department was founded in 1905 and is an all-volunteer member company that covers 14 square miles with 2 fire stations. Crystal Windows supplied 2,043 heavy-commercial energy-efficient windows and about 155 louver panels to the New Jersey luxury apartment complex The Lenox. Located in the Paulus Hook neighborhood of Jersey City, the complex provides 255 rental units providing studio, 1, 2, 3 bedroom apartments as well as ground-floor retail space. Crystal Widows supplied over 150 of our energy-efficient aluminum window series 2000A/2100 (Architectural Cathedral Shape), 8500, 8520, and 8520 energy-efficient aluminum window to the Zion Lutheran Church and School located in Downtown Cleveland OH. Crystal Windows worked with both Adam Building Company and the architect on the job Arkinetics on this window replacement job. The Zion Lutheran Church was built in 1902 along with the school building both being home to a congregation that was founded in 1843 by German immigrants. #madeinusa #crystalwindows

Windsor Park Co-Op complex consisting of about 20 six story apartment buildings located in Oakland Gardens in Queens, NY was one of Crystal Windows’s biggest window replacement projects that we participated in. Crystal Windows’s series 1240/1280 aluminum slider has gotten some new improvements, as we introduce the quad rollers for ease of operation. This being a significant upgrade from originally coming with dual rollers now quad rollers being the standard feature for the doors, this allows for easy operation to accommodate larger size door panels and triple-glazed IGUs.
