Alexi Worth’s paintings are executed in a rare photographic technique developed in the nineteenth century by Ernestine Lefevre Tournachon. The psycho photogram involves exposing imaginary objects to direct sunlight. The results, with their shallow depth and heightened 3D contours, resemble an elaborated form of freehand line drawing. Worth’s current exhibition ‘Changing Table’ is on view thru December 23rd. Artwork: Alexi Worth, Anything Anything 2020, acrylic on mesh, 28 x 41 inches

Joyce Kozloff with her incredible installation Voyages: Carnevale 2006 in her exhibition ‘Mind Mapping’ currently on view at 375 Hudson Street. A veteran of the Pattern & Decoration movement, Kozloff's mixed-media works explore the intersection of cartography, culture, and history on a global scale. Also evident in this 20-year survey of work is the influence of Kozloff's life-long commitment to feminism, political activism, and the Heresies Collective, a New York-based com...munity of women artists whose extremely influential journal ran from 19771993. The exhibition, organized by Jay Grimm, is accompanied by a color brochure featuring an essay by Jenni Sorkin and is produced in partnership with DC Moore Gallery. Located in the Hudson Square neighborhood of SoHo, it is open to the public MondayFriday 9AM5PM. Artwork details: Acrylic, watercolor, collage on paper, mounted on canvas, 129 x 33 inches
