Apparently tomorrow, Feb 9, is National Toothache Day. Too bad we couldn't plan our toothaches! They sure can put a damper on your day. So even though you cannot plan it, if you DO have a toothache for more than a day or two, call us to get an appointment. Our doctors will evaluate and take an x-ray if needed and treat accordingly to get you back to feeling like your old self!
Today is National Tater Tot Day. Today is supposed to be more known for being Ground Hog Day, but I think Tater Tots are more exciting!! What is your favorite way to have them?
Popcorn has been a popular snack for people of all ages since the 1800’s. However, it is not necessarily the snack preferred by most dentists. Popcorn is by far one of the worst causes of dental damage. And, although you may assume biting down on an un-popped kernel is the worst consequence, the damage caused by the hull (the thin shell wrapped around the corn kernel) becoming wedged between your gums and teeth should also come with great caution. So please take care when eating Popcorn today and every day!
Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. What are YOU doing for others?
To all our Patients and family, we wish you a happy, and especially healthy, New Year!
We’re excited to announce to our patients our new, up to date, check-in procedure. When you arrive at our office, proceed to the check in desk and follow the instructions to check in on one of our iPad touch screens. Your clinician will come out to do a quick health assessment and walk you to your appointment. Please remember to follow proper NYS guidelines by wearing your face covering and use the supplied hand sanitizer when entering our building. Can’t wait to see you all!!
Dental Care Associates would like to inform our patients that per CDC and NYS guidelines, our waiting room will now be open utilizing social distancing and hand hygiene protocols. We ask that all patients text your arrival by responding to your appointment reminder on your phone, enter the building, use the hand sanitizer and wait to be called. You can do this by simply letting us know you are here through your confirmation text/email. Our staff will come to the waiting room to perform a health assessment and walk you in for your appointment. This will allow us to reduce any patient interaction and greatly reduce risk to all patients and staff. Thank you!
To our valued patients, We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your past visits to our office. Our infection control pro...Continue reading
In light of the recent CDC and ADA recommendations, the Doctors at Dental Care Associates would like our patients to know that we have tentatively closed the office for routine dental care until May 30, 2020. The fluid nature of these recommendations may determine future closure, but we will continue to address any current patient dental emergencies Monday through Thursdays, from 8:00am until 10:00am. Instructions for reaching your Doctors’ office may be found on our phone messaging system after hours or by calling our office in the morning at 716-297-1644. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this time of crisis.
Thank you to all of our patients, family and friends who put your oral care in our hands! And to our staff, you are THE BEST! We couldn't succeed without you, so thank you for your many years of service to us and this community. The Doctors at DCA
Thank you to all of our generous patients who donated to our 2019 Tree of Warmth. Our office sent four boxes of mittens, gloves, blankets, etc. to provide those in need in Niagara County, with much needed warm clothing for the cold months ahead. We appreciate how generous our community is to those in need!
It looks like Summer has finally arrived! Have a safe and great weekend!
