The chiefs look forward to working with the board of fire commissioners satisfying the needs of the community and our members in the upcoming year.

In the early morning hours the Deer Park Fire Department was alerted for a structure fire. Upon arrival it was found to be a faulty flue pipe to the burner in the house. The carbon monoxide CO detector went off alerting the family that something was wrong. This had a happy ending. If you don’t have them get them, Smoke and CO Detectors Save Lives!

The Deer Park Fire Department was activated on Friday evening for a motor vehicle overturn with an entrapment. Upon the arrival of our units, dispatchers were updated notifying them that it was a two car motor vehicle accident with negative overturn. The drivers side door of one vehicle needed to be popped open with our electric spreaders. Our EMS crew transported one patient to a local hospital and units were released within half an hour.
