The 3-D range is closed until Monday 6/29 in preparation and hosting of the IBO State Shoot June 27-28.

May 30...-31st Avon Bowmen June 27-28th - IBO NY State Championship & IBO World Qualifier will be held at Deerslayers Bowmen's Association. 8100 NY-104, Oswego, NY 13126. They have excellent terrain & accommodation, along with target quality to hold a successful NY State Championship event. Be sure to follow their FB page as well. July 18-19th The Sportsman Coonhunters Association Will be holding the 3rd leg NY IBO Triple Crown & Overall Championship. We are thinking of having a summer league again this year. But with the clubs shoot schedule this month (2 public shoots). It wouldn’t good to start until Wednesday July 1st. It would only be for 6 weeks. Who would be interested?

Since Chittenango has decided not to host a shoot this coming Sunday. Deerslayers has offered to host a shoot. You can start shooting from 8-10am. Social Distancing will be expected by all. No food will be available, just bottled and canned drinks.

Deersalyers is proud to announce we have a 30 target course set for your enjoyment. Though we recognize the importance of social distance to limit the spread of germs we also recognize the importance of mental health at a time like this. We all know the best therapy is a walk through the woods and shooting your bow. As always, we are accepting new members. We ask that you come and enjoy your club while adhering to the social distance practices which should be easy on our 69 acres. Please remember to sign in and place your range fee in the blue lock box. The bag range is free of charge.

So we will be having a Spring Turkey Contest this year. No fee to enter. This will be for Bow and Crossbow harvests Only! Winner will receive a Gift Certificate... from Us and a Custom Award from Melissa Rose Crafts. Plus all entries will have a chance to win a Turkey call from Shaking Tail Feathers. Turkeys will be scored by a combination of Weight+Beard Length+ Spur Length = Total Score. Text me @ 315-529-5995 to get your bird scored.

Within theses shoots there is a league competition with a Ch...ampionship shoot off at the last shoot of the season. If you are interested in the championship, please read the rules for eligibility. The oval sign in this photo was recently stolen from Deerslayer Bowmans Association on Rt. 104 between Hannibal and Oswego, NY. This sign had great sentimental ...value to the club, as well as being of momentary value. If you know anything about it's disappearance or see it somewhere please reach out. I'm sure there would be a reward for info leading to it's return. The club had refused to sell it in the past and so I guess someone just decided to take it! See more
