Thank you for my cute little gourd snowman that someone left at the Castile stand!!!!! I just love him!!
Today was the last day of sweet corn!! It was a great season, in spite of the dry conditions !! Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We will continue with squash, gourds, Indian corn & pumpkins throughout the FALL. Thank you for your patronage !!
Last couple of days of sweet corn.... both stands are stocked right now. We will have corn tomorrow (Monday) & perhaps on Tuesday! We can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

We will be out of sweet corn until this weekend. Pumpkins, winter squash, gourds , & MUMS & OUR HOMEGROWN TOMATOES & PEACHES at the Castile stand!! THE WINTER SQUASH HAS JUST BEEN PICKED.... ALLOW 10-14 days for it to "season" before cooking. ENJOY!!!

Good Morning!!! ROSIE in Pine Tavern today-DAYBREAK ( the second planting) in Castile- both bicolor varieties! Our own tomatoes on both stands today tooThey are small this year because of the dry weather, but OH SO SWEET! Enjoy the rest of this beautiful day!!
ROSIE is the corn of the day on both stands! It is a super sweet bicolor with large ears & very tender kernels!!

Just picked peaches at the Castile stand..... they are small this year, but ever so SWEET !! /DAYBREAK sweet corn at both stands.... a new bicolor thus season!

Both stands have CHANTILLY LACE -a sweet, creamy ALL WHITE corn! Castile has our homegrown peaches & tomatoes. Have a great day!!
CHANGE OF PLANS!!!!!! We WILL have corn tomorrow!!! Butch just came in from checking the white corn ( Chantilly Lace) ... it literally changes overnight! It will be ready to pick first thing tomorrow!!
We will be out of sweet corn until the weekend Mother Nature has not been cooperating very well this year. We should have plenty of corn coming up..... the gourmet, creamy all white corn is almost ready! Had some last night for supper .....SO good!
Our own peaches& tomatoes (they don't look pretty, but they are DELICIOUS!!!! Grown out in the elements, they have a whole different taste than the hot house ones!) NIRVANA in Castile & KINGS RANSOM in Pine Tavern- both great bicolor. Have a great day!!!

We will be opening our Castile Farm Stand this Wednesday, July 29, 2020!!!! KICKOFF is the variety- a very good early bicolor corn!.... the best is yet to come!! We will have some of the old standby varieties, plus some new ones throughout the season!! ENJOY! Thank you from the DeGroff Families!
The wildlife destroyed most of the first field of sweet corn! Hopefully the next batch will be ready later this week! I'll keep you posted! Thanks for being understanding!!
