July 7, 2020 UPDATE: The Board of Directors of the Delaware Youth Center has issued the following notice: Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Delaware Youth Center and all facilities are CLOSED until further notice. This includes the: * pool... * playground * swings * tennis and basketball courts * skate-park * exercise trail * fields * buildings - main hall, pavilion, grandstand The 2020 Annual DYC Summer Arts & Sports Program, along with swim lessons will not take place this year. Given the stringent NY State and Department of Health rules for facilities such as ours (including the outdoor spaces), we are unfortunately not able to maintain the required social distancing and sanitizing practices to be open. As NY State and the Mid-Hudson Region progress through the re-opening phases, we will continue to re-evaluate and hope to reopen the outdoor grounds at some point. Please abide by this policy for the protection of everyone in our community. We appreciate your patience while we navigate these unforeseen circumstances and thank you all for your commitment to the DYC.
