It's so nice to come back! It's so nice to see my first client this morning after so many months! It's hard at first to work with mask and shield on, but we will definitely survive this new normal! The Medical Grade H13 true HEPA air filter was running at all time. After client left, disinfections protocol included: bed sheet, head wrap and face mask went into hot water wash. (My home made fabric mask consists of 2 layers of 100% cotton + 2 layers of 100% polypropylene which... scores highly for filtration and limits droplets reaching nose and mouth). The surfaces and tools used were disinfected following industry and state's rigorous disinfection protocols using medical grade disinfectant products and methodology. The 15 min of UV lights concluded the disinfection procedure, my lab coat was also UV lights disinfected as you can see. I am ready for the next client now! Come on in! My studio and I are so ready to welcome you back! Thank you so much for your patience and your continued support! I came in today after more than half a year away to scrub the space down and clear the counter space for easy disinfection after each client! Do you notice that I also added a Medical Grade H13 True HEPA air purifier. The device claims to remove 99.9% particles down to 0.1 microns, which should be good since covid-19 size is around 0.125 microns . H13 True HEPA... is considered medical grade air filtration. Anh you know I love purple, but my studio is not turning into a party venue. This is the color when the UV Lights were on. As you might have heard by now, hospitals use UV lights to disinfect their operating rooms. Even NYC subways and LIRR use UV Lights to disinfect their trains. The company suggests one light for the side of my room, but I double it to make sure the air is clean after each client, ready for the next. So please when you arrive for your appointment, please text to let me know you are at location and I will let you know when I am ready for you. I will also have my mask and shield on while taking care of your skin! NYS has allowed you to take your mask off while receiving treatments, but please have it on until you are on my treatment bed.
