We have implemented the following sanitation and hygiene protocols: We have placed MERV-13 filters to our HVAC so we have clean running air.... We placed smaller filters in the bathroom for extra protection. There is a thermometer in the entrance and sanitizer in various locations inside the cafe. (Re)Introducing La Bruma - Women in Coffee. Martha Ligia Reinoso's farm lies a few hours drive from Chaparral, Tolima, tucked away deep in the nearly impenetrable jungle mountains that few outsiders visit. Here, she has a striking farm painted bright pink, from the farm house to the processing equipment. Here, Martha tends to a handful of picturesque hectares of land along with her daughter, to whom she is passing down her knowledge of specialty coffee cultivation, and standing out against her agricultural landscape typically dominated by men.

This smooth and fruity Caturra comes from a farm called La Selva (or The Jungle) in Cundinamarca, so-called because of its thick, jungle-like vegetation. It is our staple pour-over House Blend, giving abundant citric notes of blood orange, mandarin, and lemon.

20th St. Devoción location open for indoor dining! Words can’t convey how much we missed you. Today marks our open for indoor dining at our Gramercy/Flatiron location. Toro is our original house blend. It takes you to a world of chocolate, cherries, vanilla and almonds. Washed process, it’s perfect for all brew methods. The farms used in this blend come from Cundinamarca in central Colombia. Presently, we are using three farms: Buenos Aires, El Bosque, and La Maria. These farms harvest coffee year-round from Caturra and Tipica Trees.... PC: @brandongoodyear

We have a new coffee dropping today. Introducing La Mariposa from our Women in Coffee series. Notes of honey, orange, peach and cinnamon. High atop the canyon that straddles the Sumapáz River, the very line that separates the departments of Cundinamarca and Tolima, lies a small farm. Here, Olga Mora and her husband Nelson Pardo, both natives of the region, have been living for decades, tending the land and raising their child. Olga's dedication to her farm work has helped mak...e this small farm successful, and has also served to pass on the ancestral knowledge of coffee cultivation to yet another generation, something which makes women like her crucial to the future of Colombian agriculture. La Mariposa is a coffee with citric and stonefruit-forward notes, a maple sweetness and a cinnamon spice note that rounds out this medium-bodied offering. PC: @devocioncolombia
