Dear Friend of the Dimon Institute, I hope you are doing well and staying safe and healthy during this time. I would like to invite you to join us later today for the start of a new digital series - Principles of the Alexander Technique. I will be teaching it online Monday through Thursday, 12PM-1PM Eastern Time, for three weeks (beginning today, Monday, May 18th, and ending Thursday, June 4th). This series will be open to everyone at no charge in order to help people conti...nue their studies during this time. It is based on my new digital project - The Body in Action: Principles of the Alexander Technique, which is also online and available to everyone. As you may know, in-person classes at the Dimon Institute have been suspended and we have moved our programs online. We have opened up to include schools and teachers from around the world that have also had to close their doors due to coronavirus, and we are so grateful to have such a dedicated community during this time. If you cannot attend live, we will be posting recordings online at https://www.dimoninstitute.org/webinars. We have also posted our last digital series, which was a series of talks about how the primary control works, so I hope you enjoy those as well. You can sign up for the class at the link below and we will send you a copy of the syllabus. Sign up to receive the syllabus, course updates and relevant information here: https://bit.ly/DimonInstituteDigital I hope to see you online this week. Most importantly, of course, I hope you are staying healthy and safe during this challenging time. All my best, Ted Dimon
Please join us on Zoom for our new 3 week experiential webinar series! Ted Dimon will be speaking on the fundamental principles of the Alexander Technique, including direction, inhibition and the primary control. He will guide participants through experiential exercises as he breaks down the steps of understanding one's own coordination and the skilled use of the body.
