In this month of the Holy Rosary, may Our Blessed Mother guide us in confronting racial inequalities and restoring peace in our communities. #electionnovena
What is the Kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden. When it was fully grown, it became a large bush and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches. #dailygospel Luke 13:18-19

The USCCB is offering an #ElectionNovena to help Catholics form their consciences as they prepare for the upcoming election. For nine consecutive days participants will be encouraged to pray one Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be for each day's intention. Day One: "As we prepare for the national & local elections, in the midst of a global pandemic, may our political engagement be guided by our Catholic Faith."
Our seminarians are busy taking classes at St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore while also remaining safe as masks are required throughout the buildings.
Walk beside me as I endure the challenges of today. Give me the strength I need to challenge the week ahead. Send Your angels to guard over me as You lead me into my divine purpose. ... In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen! #MondayPrayer
Sir, leave it for this year also, and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it; it may bear fruit in the future. If not you can cut it down. #dailygospel Luke 13:8-9
I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing! #dailygospel Luke 12:49
Today we celebrate the feast day of Saint Pope John Paul II, he was the first non-Italian pope in 455 years. St. John Paul II, pray for us! Módl si za nami. "Do not be afraid. Do not be satisfied with mediocrity. Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."
You also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come. #dailygospel Luke 21:40
Congratulations Fr. Baker on your new assignment as the diocesan vocation director!
May you rest in peace Deacon John Wlos.
Be vigilant at all times and pray that you may have the strength to stand before the Son of Man. #dailygospel Luke 21:36
Today we commemorate the feast day of Saints John de Brébeuf, Isaac Jogues and and their missionary companions. Known as the North American Martyrs, they are the patron saints of North America. Pray for us.
