We are thrilled to announce our February Business of the Month: Robinette Jewelers! Robinette Jewelers has been a staple in the community for an entire lifetime. Mark Robinette took over the business from his father in 1980 and has remained the owner ever since. With his granddaughters working there part-time, Robinette Jewelers is now officially in its fourth generation of family operation. Robinette Jewelers excels in quality, value, and service. Clients receive personalized service from staff members who are knowledgeable in all aspects of their craft. Offering jewelry and watch sales and repairs, merchandise is hand-selected by the team to ensure they have something there for everyonenecklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets. Environmentally friendly diamonds are available, too. Plus, most repairs are done in-house. Looking for something for Valentine’s Day? Why not offer a gold plated rose that will stay fresh and new for years to come! We are thrilled to award Fall Street Brewing/Finger Lakes Kombucha Company as the November Business of the Month! Owned and operated by young entrepreneurs, Brad and Anna Luisi-Ellis, Fall Street Brewing officially opened doors in the Fall of 2019, joining the small but formidable network of breweries operating in Seneca County. What makes Fall Street Brewing so unique is that it is Seneca County’s only kombucha tea brewery. Celebrating the first anniversary is always s...o exciting, because the first year presents so many challenges. It is an especially gratifying feat this year amid the pandemic. Brad, Anna and their team have grown and accomplished so much in the past year, and we cannot wait to see what the coming years hold for them. After having started with kombucha, they now also offer espresso, beer, wine, cider, and light fare. To keep up with the ever-changing state mandates, they created an online ordering system, added outdoor seating, and started offering to-go sales and curb-side pick-up. With its loyal fan base and involvement in the community, Fall Street Brewing is a welcome addition to downtown Seneca Falls. Fall Street Brewing now provides jobs to five employeesup from zero a year ago. And keep a look out for some special deals for the beloved annual It’s a Wonderful Life celebration. Plus, Brad and Anna are both teaching this year in local school districts on top of running and growing their new business. If that doesn’t say, Superhero, what does? Fall Street Brewing is open Wednesday and Thursday from 9 AM to 6 PM; Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM; and Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Check out the website here: https://www.fallstreetbrewing.com/ The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month Program is sponsored by the Hampton Inn Seneca Falls. Each month, participating Cayuga Lake Wine Trail member wineries will feature a different vinifera wine. Well, it's ...officially December now and winter is coming! So, this month, they turned to the red side to put the spotlight on Cabernet Franc! The CLWT Website features some history on the Cab Franc grape and some food pairing suggestions. #Thanksgiving is nearly here! We have a lot to be thankful for: our members, our volunteers, our tourism and community partners, and our entire community as a whole! In order to celebrate Thanksgiving safely with your loved ones this year, NYS Department of Health suggests that you: Avoid Thanksgiving travel.... Celebrate Thanksgiving only with your immediate household, or limit your household guests to 10 people. Spread thanks, not COVID. Of course, with Thanksgiving, comes Black Friday. Be on the lookout for our #ThinkLocalFirst ad campaign! Remember to shop safely this holiday season: avoid areas of the state where confirmed cases and clusters have recently increased, avoid crowds, wear face coverings in public, and stay home if you feel sick. #WeAreAllInThisTogether Not sure if your destination is safe? It's easier than ever to find out! You can look up any address in the state to determine if it is in or near an existing cluster zone using this tool on the State's website. The tool includes a navigable, regularly updated map of New York State that shows all the current cluster zones in the state. Hot Spot Lookup Tool: https://covidhotspotlookup.health.ny.gov/#/home Did you know? There are no cluster zones in Seneca County! THANK YOU ALL for your diligence and care in keeping our community #SenecaSafe! Follow this link to take the #SenecaSafePledge: https://www.discoverseneca.com/senecasafe/

We are very excited to announce that Ovid Community Health has been selected as our September 2020 Business of the Month! Since opening seven years ago, Ovid Community Health (part of the Finger Lakes Community Health network) has had a positive economic effect on the community and has demonstrated civic mindedness in many ways, which are some of the factors that we consider when selecting our Business of the Month. Ovid Community Health is an absolutely perfect fit for t...hese criteria, and we are thrilled to acknowledge such a hardworking and impactful group of heroes! A true team player, Ovid Community Health has partnered with different organizations to realize various programs to improve the overall health and wellness of the community. Alongside STEPS during outreach events at the senior housing complex, Verona Village, Ovid Community Health has encouraged residents to get regular check-ups and important health screenings. They also partnered on youth projects in Lodi promoting environmental health. To help combat the global health pandemic, Ovid Community Health is now offering drive-up COVID-19 testing to anyone wishing to be testedwith or without symptomsevery Thursday. Behavioral health is also paramount during these unprecedented times, and the telehealth services, which were already in place before, have expanded and are using the latest technologies. To address another urgent issue, cancer screening, Ovid Community Health is offering mobile mammograms on scheduled dates through a partnership with Rochester Regional Health. We would like to send a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Dr. Kabari and the entire team at Finger Lakes Health Institute. Thank you to all who showed up to give their support at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening on Friday. If you have not seen the renovations yet, get yourself over to 81 West Bayard St. in Seneca Falls and check it out -- WOW, what a transformation!... Dr. Kabari and his team helped take this vacant building--nostalgic to many in the community: the former St. Pat's School--and turned it into a beautiful new space which houses many different facilities and practices all aimed at improving the wellbeing of our community members. This is an incredible investment in the future of the town of Seneca Falls and beyond.
