The surrounding boards are up and the base poly is down! The new poly will be placed and the filling process will begin once the cold temps are sustainable and consistent. Bring on the cold temps!

Probably the last fresh coat of ice for the season! Today and tomorrow are looking like our last days to skate!

Just a quick appreciation post here...Due the high winds late Sunday night we woke up to this early Monday morning. Only some roof dents and a small section of netting crumbled, thankfully. However, we knew this wasn’t going to be an easy clean up...This morning I left for the day with a large tree covering a quarter of the rink and came home to a treeless rink, repaired netting, and a fresh coat of water to make it as smooth as glass. Thank you to my Dad for all the hard work he puts into this rink day in and day out so our family, friends, and kids in the community can enjoy this amazing feature in our backyard. We love you and appreciate all you do for us!

Todd Ruczynski threw on the skates while visiting town to gather interviews and footage of the rink for his upcoming book!
