Had a wonderful time presenting with Dr. Michelle Pesca of Applied Behavior Analytic and Psychological Services ABAPS at the New York Association of School Psychologists (NYASP) virtual conference. We were privileged to present to talented school psychologists on the use of Google Forms in data collection for student behavior and enjoyed the excellent presenters that the NYASP conference offered.

Looking forward to the day when there is no divide between physical health and mental health- healthy humans take care of their bodies AND their minds. Now more than ever, take care of your mental health needs- you're worth it.

While I did not know her personally, I was aware of Feda Almaliti by her fierce, friendly, and passionate reputation and I join with the autism community in mourning the passing of her and her son Muhammed. Every year, those with autism spectrum disorder and individuals with disabilities who are of age and ability to vote are under-represented in the polls. Often these barriers are practical, such as mobility and transportation to the polls. There are many ways to make sure we include the voices of those with disabilities, such as mail-in and absentee voting platforms. Make your plan to vote NOW- decisions that will be made about you may be made without you unless you participate in the election. The passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg comes with the reminder that we must never accept the "status quo" when it impinges on the equal rights of ALL citizens. She was a strong advocate not only for women, but for those with disabilities. Individuals with disabilities are historically underrepresented in voting, and it is more important than ever that those who can vote do vote, and that we remove the barriers to voting for all.
