The last couple days we have been busy swapping out our old auto take off units for new ones. An auto take off unit is designed to gently remove the milker unit... when the milk flow stops from the cow helping to keep the cow from being over milked. When the milk flow from the cow stops the machine shuts of the vacuum and gently removes the milking cluster. Our old ones were built in the late 80's or early 90's and where rebuilt before we bought them around 2004 most of them were not working correctly so we decided to replace them we did 12 units yesterday and 12 units today.
