Down and Quilt Shop

A selection of my quilts are now hanging in the gift shop of the Kennedy Heights Art Center, where I have joined the artists' collective. Exciting! Looks like there will be lots of networking opportunities.

Just finished another new quilt, "Japanese Rose Garden" (21" x 21"). I like this block design, called "Navajo"--it changes so much depending on the focus fabric I use. And I love that dark red!

Encouraging news--I just learned my quilts been accepted on the wait list for the Wyoming Art Fair in mid-May. This is the best I've done so far in applying to ...these prestigious and very competitive art shows--so that's a real step up. I'll know more after April 8, when registration for the show closes, and they see how many spaces are still open. So cross your fingers for me! See more

Here's my newest piece, called "Lavender's Blue/Lavender's Green" (like the old English folk song)--26" x 26". The pieced blocks are my old favorite "Navajo" bl...ock--so versatile.
