If you are thinking about a cruise there are plenty of deals out there for 2021 and beyond. But sadly I feel the cruises will not sell the rest of 2020.

I get asked quite frequently how do I get paid when booking a vacation. Does my fee get added into the cost? No it does not. One is because I don’t charge planning fees and two the answer is below in the post I shared. Cruise lines or resorts compensate me the agent after you go on your vacation or business trip. With COVID-19 it is pretty much put the nail in the coffin to us in this industry. You get your money back a refund or a future travel credit but the agent receive...s zero because the vacation never happened. It is a very unfair situation for me as the agent but it is the way it is right now. I am sharing this because we will travel again and when we can and you are thinking of planning a future trip please keep me in mind and support your small businesses. ANNOUNCEMENT! Travel is officially starting to open back up. I know many clients who are ready to travel and wanting to book trips for late summer and fall or who have planned trips and waiting to hear the official news. It is up to you and your family if you feel ready to travel but I am here for you when you are. Here are a few vacation spot updates: Universal Studios officially opened up today. Social distancing will be practiced, face masks are required and some rides wi...ll be unavailable. The water park will be open and no masks on water rides. SeaWorld and parks will open June 11th Disney will open July 11th for Magic Kingdom/Animal Kingdom and July 15th for Hollywood Studios/Epcot. Face masks will be required, social distancing will be practiced and no fireworks, parades or character meet & greets but characters will be walking throughout the parks. There are more details and specifics for each Park as well as resorts and dining that I will be happy to discuss individually with each client. Cruises vary on destination but some are sailing out as early as this August with lots of freebies added in and very low pricing. Also some of the Caribbean and Mexico resorts are opening up mid to late June. This has been a rough few months for the travel industry and for my business but I look forward to helping you plan future trips and thank you for supporting small-business during this time. 2021 will be opening shortly so if you would like to wait till next year let me know so I can get you on my list to get the best prices as soon as they open up those. ~Denise Doyle
