In the last week, we have had devastating news. 2 doctors in Buffalo have passed away and in the last day, 2 additional friends of ours that are healthcare workers ( not hospital based) are positive. We get the vaccine to protect ourselves, but also to reduce the spread to each other. We have worried since March that we would contract it, based on the face to face interactions with patients, and worried to bring it home to our families. We haven’t seen our families (that live... out of our home) hardly at all since this started, because we are always afraid we may have Covid without symptoms and fear we will give it to those we love. It is a great day today to be able to get the vaccine. We can soon begin spending time with family and we can stop fearing we will get it from or give it to our patients that we care about. 1.8 Million people worldwide have died from Covid. 2.1 M people have been given the vaccine in the US with 0 deaths. Stop the spread, get vaccinated. Save lives. See more

Our deepest condolences to Dr. Brass’ family. He unfortunately succumbed to COVID late last evening. He was a wonderful, kind doctor, who gave his life to medicine, and touched all who knew him. He will be sorely missed.

When considering the Covid vaccine, it is reported that one out of every 1 million doses is complicated by severe allergic reaction. There are 360 million people in the United States, there should be LESS THAN 400 severe allergic reactions according to the CDC. Severe reactions include all of the following: Shortness of breath Fever Anaphylactic reaction. All of these can be medically managed with medication. Which is why they monitor you for 15 min after administration. ... 3500 people are dying a day in the United States from COVID. Read credible information. CDC, Johns Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic. The healthcare workers are taking the vaccine first. Don’t magnify the few reactions compared to the millions of doses already given. We need to educate people off of Facebook. We need as much PSA info that there was for voting and BLM. There is NO medication or vaccine ever created that has no side effects. Not one. I have seen people get reactions from receiving blood transfusions with the same blood type. Please read good info in order to make a good decision. Your life and the life of those you live with depend on it. The vaccine is a RAY OF HOPE during our darkest time. We can not continue to lose so many people. There are VERY FEW people that should not take the vaccine. Very few. See more
