Phthalates, Triclosan Ammonia, Chlorine are a few of the toxins that could be lurking in your household cleaning products. Paradoxically every time we ‘clean’ our homes using a cocktail of harsh chemicals we may actually be doing more harm than good to the environment where we eat sleep and breathe. ( not to mention the contamination to our waterways. . HOW TO MAKE A NATURAL CLEANING PASTE that you can use for bathrooms, countertops and grubby tiles: I mixed 1 1/2 cups of #bakingsoda with 1 cup of liquid Castile. I have also made this with liquid #marseillesoap and it works just as good. ( grating the soap into soap flakes first and then melting with added water) You can also add a few drops of #lemonessentialoil to this but this is purely optional. . To use I take about a teaspoon or tablespoon of the mixture depending on the surface area to be cleaned and scrub with a wet brush or cloth. You can add more water as you need it. . . This paste is easy to make and can be whipped up in seconds, is a good #ecofriendlyalternative to conventional chemical laden products and safer for your home too! . . .
