Re: Covid-19 Coronavirus Dear Patients and Friends, During this unprecedented global pandemic, we are all concerned about the health and safety of our friends, family and neighbors.... As you know, our office has spared no expense utilizing the strictest PPE & OSHA protocols to insure the safety and health of our patients and staff. But we are in uncharted waters. Federal, State and Local regulations have been implemented to help limit community spread. But this disease continues to grow and treatment therapies are not fully in place yet. Routine dentistry can discharge aerosol products that may spread the disease. As a result, The American Dental Association and The New York State Dental Association have asked dentists to defer elective treatments for 2-3 weeks. We want to do our part to help mitigate the spread of this virus. So, for the health and safety of our patients and staff we have decided to close the office temporarily for 2-3 weeks. Like many other dentists, we feel we have an obligation to manage our own emergencies or the healthcare system may become overwhelmed. We will conduct phone interviews for any dental emergencies and may consider individual appointments if necessary.
