! LONGEST POST EVER ALERT ! Today is my birthday so I'm going to eat ice cream for lunch. I mean, some other days I also eat ice cream for lunch, but DEFINITELY today too. I'm also going to give myself a dang gift. I've been doing a lot of thinking and a whole lot of struggling lately. I've been working 2, (sometimes 3), jobs for the past few years to fuel and pay off everything I have planned for Driftwood + Glitter. I've been so busy that I kind of lost sight of why I start...ed this in the first place. I'm going to give this next year back to myself. I'm going to check off some creative projects I've been dying to tackle, take some more design classes and spend a WHOLE lotta time with the people I love. The website drops in a few weeks so I'll still be slinging vintage housewares and clothing online because that's what I freakin' LOVE, but the Driftwood + Glitter barn will now serve mainly as my warehouse and workshop. Come to the barn blowout sale on August 18th!!! I'm moving the sewing machines in so I need the space. I'm so excited to start creating things again! Here's to another year of getting to know myself and what truly brings me joy..."growing up" ain't all bad. XOXO See more
