#40isthenew20 !!! Today I saw this beautiful 41 year old woman after I performed her #plasticsurgerybeforeandafter !! She was frustrated because fillers and non-surgical treatments were no longer improving her appearance and she wanted to rejuvenate her appearance permanently. In order to create natural beauty I corrected the upper middle and lower third of her face with small minimally invasive treatments done through hidden minimal access incisions. I performed a minimal... bc access #deepplanefacelift lateral #temporallift upper #blepharoplasty ( aka #eyelift ) #buccalfatremoval #necklift with #platysmaplasty and importantly both a #liplift . The deep plane #facelift lifts the dropped cheeks combined with the #buccalfatpadremoval decreases the fullness of the lower cheeks. As you can see her hair is pulled back and you cannot see any scars! Both these procedures recreating the heart shape of youth. The lip falls with age and the upper lip becomes too long making the face look older. The #facelift does not correct this. I think she looks 30 now!!!!!! This post will only be up for 1 day on her request. She is a natural beauty and wears no makeup, and I love that she already is pulling her hair back in confidence. I call this kind of a case #prejuvenation because she wanted to reset the aging of her face before it got too aged. In my experience doing these procedures earlier creates more natural results and the results last longer! Just yesterday I performed a #deepplanefacelift on this 65 year old woman and this pic is immediately after her bandages came off on her first post-operative day I think she looks amazing! She is the last #facelift I performed in 2020!! She is a #revisionfacelift case, she was frustrated with persistent Jowls and drooping neck just 1 year after a prior #smasfacelift with another surgeon. Often with a droopier face and more significant aging a SMAS fa...celift will not create a durable repair. Some studies in the literature show a 50% failure rate at 2 years after A SMAS facelift. I know this first hand because I used to perform SMAS procedures as my go to operation years ago. This is the reason I prefer the deep plane approach, it works on the deep facial musculature and recreate the structure and underpinnings of the facial support that is longer lasting. I not only performed a #deepplanefacelift to reposition the heavy deep fat and musculature but a #platysmaplasty for #platysmabands . A brisk 7 mile run this morning on #southamptonny in 30 degree weather was made so much better by this warm #manofaran wool hat from #dublin I received as a Christmas gift from one of my #deepplanefacelift patients from Ireland. I still remember when I took off her bandages she said Holy Mary Mother of God, I look like a child! She was getting ready for her daughter’s wedding. One of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
