I know a few of my clients have poultry. Free range chicken eggs and meat have a wonderful taste but there is a risk of salmonella. This can be minimized with proper handling and almost all commercial egg and chickens are more likely to have salmonella.

The vet will then examine the animal and give you a call to let you know what they found and if anything different should be done. If the animal is fine , the treatments will be done and then the vet will call you most likely after the acupuncture needles are in. If the weather is nice we have done some treatments outside so please ask if this is appropriate for your pet. To expedite things please call refills in ahead but know that herbs are generally filled at the appointment as those may change as the animal changes, food changes, or the season changes. We do testing here of Vit D. We find about 90 % of our patients are deficient upon initial testing. The supplement is cheap, effective and the changes we see in the animals are remarkable once their levels go up. Because it is a fat soluble vitamin we do not recommend starting Vit D without testing levels first. We have seen Improvement with skin issues, ear issues, energy, and with cancer patients. We can do this test with your dogs Heartworm test or annual blood work.

Hi everyone. It’s heartworm season. Call to schedule your heartworm test and pick up prevention. In this part of the country we need to get your dogs on prevention in the month of June. The prevention works backwards so it is the previous month that is covered. We also need 2 weeks of 80 degree weather and then an AVERAGE temp of 56 degrees for 20 days out of the month for any mosquitos to carry baby heartworm.
