We recently purchased a 3D Cone Beam Computerized Tomagraphy (CBCT) x-ray system. This is essentially an in-office CAT scan. We can now scan your mouth with our Cerec Omnicam and design the restoration. Next we take a 3D x-ray and import the Cerec scan into the x-ray software. From here, we design a precision surgical guide and have it fabricated. Dr. Patella will use this guide to place an implant into the ideal position for the final restoration. Dr. Patella has spent the last few weekends training in latest implant surgical techniques.

This patient presented with bulky, ill fitting porcelain veneers (top photo) which were restored in two short visits. She was very happy with the beautiful result!

In this case, a patient had three implant crowns fabricated in the office in about 2 1/2 hours without an impression. His implants were scanned and designed using the Cerec Omnicam. The small holes you see allow the crowns to be screwed directly into the implants. This process could take several weeks to complete using conventional dentistry.

This implant crown was fabricated in the office in one visit using the new Cerec software. The crown was seated into the implant and affixed using a retaining screw. Then the hole that you see was filled with a small white filling. This typically takes 2-3 visits to complete using conventional treatment.

This is a short video of a bridge that I fabricated using the power of the Cerec Omnicam. The bridge was delivered in the same visit in about two hours.

The arrows in the before and after photos below show what can be done using Invisalign. The malpositioned tooth, which was originally going to be extracted, was moved into the proper position using a series of Invisalign aligners.

This patient lost his front crown. I was able to scan his adjacent crown and tell the computer to create a mirror image of it. He walked out with his new crown in the same visit.
