Our phones and internet are down, and cell service is out as well, but because we have a generator we are able to function fully in the office and keep all appointments. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have an urgent matter you can try to send a private fb message or email to the office, but because of our internet issues we may not even get these messages immediately. Check it out! More equipment to keep our patients and staff safe. This is an extraoral suction unit which extracts aeresol as it is being released, and runs it through a HEPA and UV filtration system. Between these units, our air purifiers throughout the office, and our AirScrubber UV ventilation system, I think it’s safe to say we have the cleanest air in Dutchess County! #cleanair #TheAirWeShare

Dear Patients: As of March 17th, 2020, we will be open only for emergency visits until further notice. Please call to determine if you need to be seen for an emergency. Our phones will be tended to as much as possible. If you are unable to reach us via telephone, please send a text or email as these will be checked regularly. You will be contacted prior to your next scheduled appointment with further instruction. Please check our facebook page for updates. If you are cu...rrently in braces, rest assured that the wires and ties in your mouth are still active and doing work. I am fully prepared to ramp-up subsequent adjustments if necessary to keep you all on schedule to the best of my ability. For those in expanders that are actively being turned, we will be in contact with you to monitor your treatment remotely. For those scheduled to have your braces removed, we will do everything in our power to get you in as soon as possible once it is safe to do this procedure. In an effort to protect our patients, staff, and community, we will be drastically reducing the number of patients seen over the next few weeks. We will update you as we continue to process new information and guidelines throughout. For now, here is what you need to know: -All staff are taking all precautions recommended by the CDC to keep a clean and safe environment. -Please do not bring siblings or friends into the waiting area. The patient may be accompanied by one p...arent or guardian. Should a parent choose to wait in the car with a sibling, our staff will walk the patient out to discuss treatment and book the next appointment. -Expect a phone call and text 24-48 hours prior to your currently scheduled appointment to find out if your appointment will be maintained or rescheduled. -We are currently attempting to maintain all major appointments, such as the placement and removal of braces, expanders, and retainers, as well as treatment of impacted teeth and emergencies. -Routine adjustments will be rescheduled in 6-7 weeks, when the coast should be clear. -I will do my best to ramp up subsequent adjustments as necessary to keep patients on schedule. -The reduction in appointments will help us not only to keep the waiting area well sanitized and avoid crowds, but also to conserve hard-to-source supplies like masks and hand sanitizer. Ok folks! Every holiday we do a fundraiser for a local charity, but this year it’s even more important because we are raising money for one of our patients, Nate. Nate and his brother have been patients for a long time (check out photo below of Nate back in the day sporting a DO tee shirt for an office photo shoot!!). Nate suffered a spinal cord injury this summer. He will require continued PT not covered by insurance to gain as much strength and mobility as possible. His mom isn’t working so that she can dedicate her time to Nate and his rehabilitation. Their house will also require modifications to accommodate Nate. HELP US HELP THEM!!! Stop in the office any time through the end of January and WE WILL MATCH ANY DONATION MADE!!!! There will be some incentives to be announced soon!
