COVID thrust our Central Labs team into overdrive as demand for testing skyrocketed. Working 24/7, medical technologists processed more than 500,000 tests. They... handle about 2,000 COVID tests per day and new technology doubles that capacity. We are grateful for their dedication to our Finger Lakes region.

Children in dental chairs can sometimes be challenging! In this Behavior Management class, our pediatric dentistry residents took turns role playing as the child having a tantrum, or as the provider trying to manage the patient. Dr. Ritu Shah, (top, center) taught them different strategies for successful treatment, with a lot of laughs along the way. #pediatricdentistry

Piertri, Squires, and St. Martin recently presented Ortho Treatment Planning in the Digital Era, discussing latest technology to treat patients in the most advanced and efficient manner.

Congrats to Stacy D’Armiento for celebrating 20 years at UR! She started as a Communication Rep in the SMH Page Office before working as an Ambulatory Patient Rep. She saved the best for last when she joined EIOH Pediatric Dentistry as a Treatment Plan Coordinator in 2008. What she enjoys most is that I’m learning something new all the time, whether it’s about billing and insurance, patient procedures and different types of x-rays. Eastman is a learning institute, not only for residents, but for all who work here." #EastmanFamily
