This Graffiti Cup sake is only one of the many types of sake we’ve got on order for you! Brewmaster and president, Niichiro Marumoto, is known for his creative approach to sake making; from growing his own sake rice right outside the brewery to pioneering the science of Sparkling Sake. The Joto One cup is another example of Marumoto’s expertise in combining tradition and innovation in one delicious sake. This one-cup sake is the best selling one-cup sake in Okayama prefecture. Joto One-cup sake is packaged in an eye-catching single serve container designed by the Japanese graffiti artist, Shiro. Joto One Cup shows old and new Japan in one. Check them out @jotosake or give it a try on your first visit with us!

Continuing our Travel, the MOSU team made their way south to Shanghai to look for the best cut of beef , we left no stone unturned and no butt unchecked (see the first photo). Everyone had a chance to sample all of the different bao’s Shanghai has to offer (pictured are Xiao Long Bao () and Sheng Jian Bao ()). We made a quick stop in Fuzhou, whose cuisine is predominantly seafood based, for a meal with our local host at a restaurant that only serves fresh seafood. Pa...trons are able to select their live seafood, how they want it cooked and is then served in a private dining room. This was followed by one of the best hot pot experiences any of us have ever had. We ended our China trip in Hong Kong, a city that boasts some of the best restaurants in Asia from local dives to Michelin Star fine dining. Hong Kong is the Manhattan of China and filled with expats from all over the world and serving foods to suit these multitudes of palates, and budgets. Tim Ho Wan was a must, as they are the only dim sum restaurant in the world to receive a Michelin Star

There are various tributes to the chinese dragon, also known as Long or Lung, throughout the restaurant. These legendary creatures in Chinese mythology, folklore, and culture are symbols of power, strength and good luck for people who are worthy of it in East Asian culture. How many dragons can you find on your first visit to MOSU?

The MOSU’s team trip to Beijing was filled with history, food and culture. One of the earliest ancient civilizations of the world, China’s cities are an amalgamation of old meets new. Our first stop in Beijing was to the Great Wall of China where without modern technology, man was able to create over 13,000 miles of fortifications during multiple dynasties. We followed our Great Wall climb with a stop at a small dumpling shack recommended by locals that has been serving the ...same dumpling recipe for decades. Best way to eat dumplings? With vinegar, specifically black vinegar (according to Beijingers anyways, at MOSU we will be creating a version of this dumpling served with black vinegar for you to try!) Fun fact, did you know that dumplings () have been eaten in China for over 1,800 years? Continuing our exploration of Beijing, we visited the Forbidden City - constructed in the 1400s and consisting of 980 buildings, this palatial space was once the Imperial Palace of China. Our walk led us through Beihai Park to QuanJuDe () for their famous Peking Duck and a photo op of our General Manager with the QuanJuDe mascot. No trip in Asia is complete without a stop at a street food market. Here we visited the Wangfujing Snack Street () where we filled our bellies with cumin lamb skewers, Chinese crepes (jianbing) and other yummies, but were too wimpy to try the bugs.
