There is so much information floating around about produce and COVID-19 right now. Please don't listen to the advice about washing your produce in soap and water, definitely don't wash it in a bleach solution. Neither are not meant for ingestion and can make you feel ill. Definitely rinse your produce with water, products specifically meant for cleaning fruits and vegetables or a vinegar and water solution. Stay healthy and safe my friends.

Telehealth nutrition counseling services are being offered, you can verify your benefits with your insurance company (I have diligently been calling them all afternoon). Practice policies are still in effect during this time for cancelling with less than 24 hour notice and no show appointments). Looking forward to seeing you online and please call or email with any questions! 563-9000 [email protected]

Siobhan Fisher is an amazing photographer, if you're not following her page yet and reading the stories she's sharing...you should...I'm very honored she asked me to share my story. Sending lots of love to the families that are remembering tonight. . . . This evening, October 15th, is the International Wave Of Light. We light our candles at 7pm in our time zones in remembrance of all the babies gone too soon.... "It was August 9th, 2016 at 11:00 am when we went in for our 12 week ultrasound. We were excited and talked about what the future would hold as she squirted my belly with jelly and pressed hard. I got a glimpse of the baby, and even after having two healthy pregnancies, seeing this undersized baby on the monitor didn't even phase me. Her movements on my belly were getting faster and harder, and she knew. She stepped out and the doctor walked in to tell us our baby stopped growing at 9 weeks, apologized and walked out. It wasn't even noon by the time we were drinking wine and eating sushi, crying so hard in the restaurant that the waitress stopped coming to our table. We had to go home and tell our 3 and 4 year old that plans changed, mommy didn't have a baby in her belly anymore. They named the baby, "Angel baby" and our oldest shed a lot of tears, for a long time. I remember out of everything that we experienced, the most difficult thing for me to grasp was me wondering if I was reacting appropriately. No one talks about miscarriages but so many of us experience them. I was so incredibly sad, was that normal? If no one talks about it, is it because they weren't that upset? Was it too early of a pregnancy to even be so sad? I just let myself be. I cried when I needed to cry, I felt bad for myself, I felt angry, and I felt bad for my husband and kids. I felt completely out of control and that I let all of us down. Once I let myself process what I needed to feel, every day got better. On August 9, 2017 I was in labor and had our baby the next day, almost exactly 1 year after the heartache, the storm gave us our rainbow " ~My story
