I’m a mom of a busy 3 1/2 year old, Elliana. I have a hubby that has a demanding job which is the director of a juvenile detention center that requires his attention 24/7, all while I’m running my own business. My name is Lizzy. I’m the one that rents a room in claverack out of Samantha’s Serenity Spa. This year I’ve questioned my career, is this really what I should be doing? I’ve never felt so inessential in all of my life. My ultimate goal is to make my family proud, ...to grow myself and never settle - and truly at the end of the day I need to be the best role model I can be for my daughter which is to be anything you want to be, regardless if someone tells you your job means *literally nothing* according to our good ol’ US government. As we are nearing the end of 2020, I’d like to thank all my clients that I’ve made into friends. You have literally reminded me why I chose to do this *11* years ago and why I’m continuing to stay. You see, I wasn’t the best student in school, I never really was into the college thing. I only cared about how much bronzer I had on and what I was doing on the weekends. Not much changed? I knew what I wanted at a really young age fresh out of high school and I did it, thankfully. This year has pulled at every emotion I never knew I had in me. At one point I asked my husband if maybe he can hire me as a guard at his facility? That was a good laugh we had. I was unsure if I’d be able to do this anymore or if I can go through another shut down. Heres my point, as we enter the new year don’t start your year off I want to loose 30 lbs (I mean I wouldn’t hate it), or pay off debts (wouldn’t hate that either). You get my point.. be easy on yourself and remember your why and focus on that and only that. Love to you all and I hope everyone has a better year ahead. I love my job, I love all of my clients, I love my little business I’ve created from the ground up. I love Sam for being there every step of the way. With this being said we are approaching flu & cold season. Please, PLEASE! If you are feeling any cold or flu symptoms, or if you’ve been around or exposed to someone with covid-19 *48 hours* prior to your appointment, I will, without penalty, reschedule you’re appointment to a later date. I wear all of my proper PPE that is enforced by our health officials, as are you when you enter our workplace. I do a thorough clean and sanitize after each individual client hence why I block out extra time in between each person. I am STILL going to kindly ask, please text or call me when you arrive. I will bring out a covid-19 waiver to your vehicle for you to fill out, you will have your temperature checked, and a squirt of hand sanitizer upon entering.
