Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. It’s tragic and devasting and the pain never goes away. You just find a way to live with it and somehow move forward but never forget. At 7 pm this evening we joined others across the world in the lighting of candles to remember all babies gone too soon in the global Wave of Light. #WaveofLight Thank you all for joining me tonight. I am honored to call you my friends in some way. Thank you for sharing this special time with ...me this evening. Psalm 34:18: The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Lord, we come before you for healing, comfort, and strength for ones who have lost a child. Our hearts are broken for them, and we long to see them restored. Help us to remember that we can stand strong when they are weak, encourage them when they are down, and remind them that this is not the end. We will see our loved ones again; we will hold our babies close to us. As our hearts break and mourn, we are tempted to ask why of you, Lord. Why us? Why our children? Why this life? We know we will never get an answer that satisfies our souls in this lifetime. Show us your compassion in place of those answers. Let us feel the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let these powerful words in Psalm flow from us like living water, so that our friends who grieve might look up and be reminded of the love of Jesus through us. Amen.

We are saddened to announce that Paint The Night Pink, Circle of Blessings 2020 has been canceled due to Covid-19 restrictions. Although we will not be able to celebrate on Aug 1st we will be hosting an online auction (date TBA) soon with all our fabulous silent auction and raffle items generously donated by local businesses and vendors.
