Kings Park is an amazing and lovely town full of generous and caring people, but there's always gotta be someone who reminds us bad guys still lurk around. Our tip jar was stolen this morning, which is extra painful after having just reopening a few days ago. However, we have it VERY clearly on video and the police will be notified. The guilty party might want to consider repenting.

WE REOPEN TOMORROW! We're in the store today preparing fresh food and doing thorough cleaning. Everyone is healthy and looking forward to serving you!

Out of an abundance of caution, we will be closed due to a positive Covid test among our staff. We will reopen on Thursday, January 7. We appreciate your understanding and wish you a safe and happy New Year.

Greetings on this beautiful Saturday! As much as we would like to continue serving breakfast and keeping the grill open past 2PM, we are forced to return to the 2PM cut-off time. We simply do not have the staff to manage it! We recently started looking to hire new clerks. NY is starting to re-open, we are entering our busiest season, and we need to replace a couple of people who have chosen to move on. We thought it would be easy since so many people are not working and the c...ollege kids are home. WRONG! Apparently (and understandably), few people want to return to work when they are making more money staying at home collecting unemployment and an extra $600 a week. That is exactly what we have been told over and over. And there are rumors it might be extended through January 1. It makes us wonder what will happen when that windfall finally runs out and everyone is looking for jobs all at once...but the damage to businesses has already been done. We wish we were in the position to give all our employees huge bonuses. They certainly deserve it. They have all continued to work throughout this pandemic, putting themselves at risk, and haven't been able to enjoy the benefits those staying at home have...not the safety, or the financial perks. It doesn't seem fair at all. And without the extra clerks we could really use, they will be working ever harder to handle the increased customer traffic. Words cannot express how much we appreciate their dedication and hard work, and we wish we could reward them with more than praise. In the meantime, we hope our customers will understand that we are doing our best to service you quickly and efficiently. If the wait is longer, or we can't get to the phone right away, please remember that by no choice of our own, we are simply limited by the availability of manpower (or womanpower as the case may be). But we also want to express our deep gratitude to all of our wonderful customers, both the new ones who have chosen to check us out, and our regulars who have stuck with us throughout. We can't say this hasn't been a struggle, but we have survived and the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter. You are the reason we have reached our 30th year and as always, it is a pleasure to serve you. Stay safe and healthy, and enjoy this glorious weekend!
