Not to start a big thread- or debate. Just letting everyone know why we say or do some of the things we do- We have had a NO OUTSIDE FOOD POLICY for many years. This year, with all that's going on with the corona virus, we didn't make a big point of saying that. (In case people were not choosing to eat food not made in their homes) We simply said we need your support in the snack bar as well as the boxoffice- Hoping that if you wanted food with your movie, you would suppor...t the drive-in. (AND WE THANK ALL WHO HAVE SO VERY MUCH!) However- We have been picking up a lot of take out bags and boxes off our lawn this season. That just isn't respectful. We know many drive-ins offer to let you buy a FOOD PERMIT to allow you to bring in other businesses take out, to cover the cost of their trash removal and loss of sales to that drive-in. We have resisted doing that- But if we continue have to clean it AND dispose of it, that will be our only option. All we're saying is- Please support THIS business when you are with us, and support other food places another night- AGAIN- TYSM! See more
