ESI team celebrates new milestone...February 1st was our 1 year anniversary of joining the FTT Medical Inc. family and we celebrated our move into a beautiful new manufacturing facility in Rochester NY.... Electro surgical instruments still handcrafted in the great USA!!

ESI attends ASCRS 2016 as a vendor to the Colorectal Surgery industry. Displaying ESI's broad line of fiber optic lighted instrumentation were Karlee Schram and Mike McAndrews. In addition, parent company FTT Medical was showcased at the booth as a contract manufacturer to OEM's and product developers.

FTT Medical Inc. Acquires Electrosurgical Instrument Company. FTT CEO John Longuil announces completion of sale on March 1st. Electrosurgical Instrument Company (ESI) was founded in 1895 in Rochester NY and developed some of the earliest lighted fiberoptic scopes and retractors known to medicine. Early contributors to its success include notables such as Dr. Koch, Dr. Welch, The Maijgren Family. Throughout it's history, it's focused on developing innovative surgical devices for General Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, ENT, and GYN Surgery. FTT Medical Inc. was formed in 2015 as a division of FTT Manufacturing, specializing in contract manufacturing of OEM components for the medical device industry.
