Elir Riverhead

Congratulations everyone. Thank you Rick Haug and Hanna Nicole for figuring out and posting the points for all Divisions. I’m not sure what’s going on next year but I will keep everyone posted. It’s a possibility that we will start up an actual club, maybe even have the club take over Poughkeepsie and rent from the owner and help relieve Scott. Scott Puts In a lot of time and money to keep the track going for us and not many are appreciative of what he does. We will put together a few possibilities to try and keep the sport going.

November 10th CHARLIE HODGE MEMORIAL 120 LAPS at Poughkeepsie speedway $2500 purse $1000 to win guaranteed 15kart min. Pot stalls marked out with Pit stops allowed anytime. November 11th JASON TRINCA MEMORIAL 48 lapper $800 to win guaranteed x2 segments. Awards and merchandise for all classes, Time trials for all classes.

ELIR WILL BE RACING AT POUGHKEEPSIE SPEEDWAY THIS WEEKEND 9-16-2018 I’m sorry to inform everyone with such a short notice, I was hoping to to get our last race in at Riverhead this weekend but it can’t be done. Riverhead raceway has exceeded the race days 28 I believe and just don’t want to chance trouble with the town. Moving forward the balance of the races for Elir Riverhead will be held at Poughkeepsie speedwaY. I’m pushing Gordon Scott Baird Sr. To have the balance of ...races on same dates listed on elir schedule, we will know for sure this weekend. Entry fees, rules, classes and will be elir rules. Same everything, except laps raced, and change of address Everyone share the post and spread the word, let’s keep the post positive and cut the negatives out, it’s set in stone now and I’d like to thank scott for having elir race at his track. I’ll see everyone Sunday. ......if you are racing for points we will have a drop race.

Friendly reminder, this Sunday 7-29-18 is race #2. 8-5-18 was canceled. I’m sorry I haven’t updated the schedule. The track is rented out already, I will update the schedule soon. Sorry, let’s hope for good weather this Sunday for race #2. See everyone there!! Tony
