Hey everyone!!! Been a while! Hope you are all safe and healthy. We haven’t posted for a while because we have been working on getting the new store ready before our big grand reopening!! Unfortunately the town of colonie offices had to shut down for a few weeks due to covid so we were in a holding pattern! The building/zoning/code process has started back up and we should have a better idea on dates in the next few days. In the meantime business is still open!! Production is ongoing. After the COVID shutdown and the lack of business due to the closing and postponement of schools, sports, events, gatherings etc that our business depends on for work, we were beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We had plans in place to be bigger and better than ever. Well...2020 strikes again!! I was just informed that the building we are located in is being sold and the new owners are not interested in keeping Elite as a tenant. I have poured my heart an...d soul into this location, making the inside exactly what we needed for our business, and the outside something that Watervliet residents are proud to have in their community. As of right now we have to be out by Mid September so we will still operate out of the 19th St location til then. There will be no delay in production or in our ability to take on new orders during our search for a new home. With all that has gone on since March, the uphill battles small businesses have faced, the personal stuff that I, like all of you have had to deal with, this was the last thing I needed at this point. But, life throws you curveballs. Well this is a Doc Gooden 12 to 6er! Im not sure exactly where we go from here, but I GUARANTEE it is up!!!! My best, and worst, quality is my stubbornness! We will not let this get us down. I am crushed that we have to relocate, but excited about the possibilities.
