It is hard to believe it’s been almost 10 years since Liz was diagnosed and our lives took an unexpected trajectory. We are forever grateful that she started Elizabeth’s Hope with Dr. Greenfield. The effort gave her/our journey meaning. It is still incredibly painful each time we learn of a child’s diagnosis or passing. However, the medical field has made incredible progress treating all sorts of cancers in the last decade. Children with brain cancer was an ignored research field. This is no longer true. There is hope. Thank you to all who believe
This blog post by friend and most tireless advocate writes passionately about why we all should care about childhood cancer.

This year has been difficult for so many in so many ways. This is the first year since EH was founded, that there will be no fund raising event to support the CBTP. Most of the non-profits supporting the CBTP are in the same situation. Yet, the need for funds to support the research is not diminished. Please join us in supporting this fun virtual CBTP event. You can even make it your own socially distanced eventinvite friends to join you and support this important research effort.
A match made in heaven, figuratively and literally! It was not the celebration Mara Harris and John Naso had planned or hoped. We wish these two Elizabeth’s Hope leaders (NYC Marathon runners, party planners and more) long lives together filled with happiness. I know their guardian angel and mutual good friend is thrilled to have played a part in the love story. Much love to both of you.
Eight years gone. So many missed opportunities. Yet, we are so proud of what she has been able to accomplish through the support of her friends and believers. Forever grateful for all who have loved our girl. Our angel is still missed.
We are so proud of our co-founders and co-directors, Dr. Mark Souweidane and Jeffrey P. Greenfield MD, PhD, for being named to the 2020 list of New York SuperDo...ctors, published as a supplement to the New York Times Magazine on May 10, 2020. This list is an elite roster of physicians named by their peers as the very best in their field. #theverybest #neurosurgery #graymatters #wcm #CBTP https://weillcornellbrainandspine.org//16-faculty-members-
