To all residents of the Elmont Fire District, we are glad we were able to accommodate you with birthday, graduation, and family event parades during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortanuely with the progress being made of the COVID-19 virus, we are resuming back to regular scheduling and can no longer continue with parades effective June 9th, 2020. We wish everyone stays healthy as we still enforce the necessary safety precautions. Thank you!

The Fire Commissioners, Chiefs and members of the Elmont Fire Department had the distinct honor of bestowing the rank of Chief to 41 year member Rich Panico. T...his is normally awarded at their annual Installation Dinner. Due to Covid-19, members presented Rich with his badge and plaque at his home while practicing social distancing. We thank Rich and his family, Donna, Gina and Deanna for their service to the EFD. See more
