The show cows are loving their new facility!

Time Out wanted to be the first one to pose with the new fence and say Winter is officially at Elmvue!

Well it’s true it is the first red and white all American at Elmvue.Rose has balance and Dairy strength with an exceptional udder .She scored 92 as a three-year-old is due in May and her future looks bright and the excitement at Elmvue continues only now in the red and white’s too .

The show must go on! We had an impeccable day at the Northeast All Breeds Fall Show, which, results will be posted later tonight! However; we wanted to share with you a couple shots from chores tonight. We are blessed to work with these animals and the rest of the 130+ ladies here on the farm day in and day out! We are proud. 2020 NY State Holstein Show With shows being very scarce this year, we were very excited to make it to the New York State Holstein Show. We would like to share our highlights of our day, as we exhibited 9 animals, 6 placed in the top 5! Thank you to our crew at home and at the shows; We could not have done it without you! Thank you to the Washington County Fairgrounds, New York Holstein Association, the sponsors and all of those who had a hand in putting this show togethe...r! Your hospitality was amazing, and the quality of animals from top to bottom was purely impeccable. This show is a perfect example of what NY Holstein Breeders are all about! We would like to thank Cowsmopolitan, Inc. and Dairy Agenda Today for capturing photos of our golden ladies in the ring! Please see the photos for results!

Today's NY Cow of the Century is C Woodfield Inspiration Lou, EX-96 4E DOM. Randy Frasier of Elmvue Farms, then of Millerton, NY purchased Lou through Norman Na...bholz out of Ohio as a young cow. She was bred by Dr. Robert Cation & William Woodill in Canada. Lou had a lifetime production of 172,100 4.0 with 3+ EX dtrs. Her many show accomplishments named her Res. All-American Aged Cow in 1998 and HM All-American Aged Cow in 1997. She was a 5 time All-American nominee in milking form. Randy shared that Lou was the silkiest, most open-ribbed cow he has worked with. She was an easy cow to get ready for a show. She had a son, Lance, who went to Field of Dreams, that produced some good daughters and that they are still using him on the herd at home.
