Today is #TransDayOfVisibility. The transgender community continues to face many health disparities due to bias in healthcare. These disparities are a result of multiple factors, one of which is uninformed healthcare. Also, words matter. Not everyone who has #endometriosis identifies as a woman. We encourage the shift in behavior to say people/individuals with endo in order to effectively support the ENTIRE endometriosis community. And access to support matters.
