We had a pretty fun Zoom call with Sand City Brewing Co. recently. Like all friends who are catching up, we spoke about the scientific concept of Entropy. #nerds We are setting out to combine portions of Sand City’s Infinite series with the scientific principle of Entropy, which deals with disorder, randomness, or uncertainty. In order to adapt the concept to the actual beers, we decided to roll a set of dice to randomize the dry hop schedule. Infinite Entropy will be dropping at both breweries in a few weeks so keep an eye out for the release notes, the dry hop ratios will be different at both locations and based on total randomization which will shift the flavor characteristics.

Please follow individual State limits for delivery. Us and kangaroosYes, it’s still a thing. This nonsensical idea came about joking ...around with our dear friend Amaey and imagining the toughest kangaroo on the planet’s inner monologue (?... if kangaroos have inner monologues; we’re sure this one does) while we were on a trip to Australia. This naturally blossomed into a collab with Haas and Come at me, Bro went from inner monologues to a TIPA made exclusively with Haas hops. We started with a base of pale malt, flaked oats and white wheat before a whirlpool of Citra, Idaho7 and a big all Victorian Galaxy dryhop. Come at me, Bro pours an opaque hazy yellow and has big notes of papaya, peach gummy rings, alphonso mango, and cantaloupe with a touch of grass in a super fluffy pillows-resting-on-pillows form. This beer is smooth and creamy with a giant fruit cocktail #EQjuice finish. This batch is tasting Amaey-zing and it’s a pleasure to taste and construct this post with our dear from @amaeyzzing from Haas.

Today at noon, we will sell Fractal Lab Mosiac (6.8 % ABV IPA) at $17 per 4-pk, no limit. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, Kentucky, and Virginia! Fractal Lab is our series that uses a simple fractal grain bill to explore simple hop expression and applies experimental techniques to hops we want to know better in this ex...perimental parameter space. For the next beer in the series, we chose our hand selected Mosaic for both the whirlpool and dry hop while applying our energy process. Fractal Lab Mosaic pours glowing yellow with big aromatic notes of complex berries, vibrant citrus, candied orange, and key lime pie. Flavors of mandarin orange, drippy peach flesh, mango candy, and complex berry coat the tongue with pops of bright lime and pine forest supported by a light, round, and resinous finish.

We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, Kentucky, Nebraska, and Virginia! Please follow individual State limits for delivery. We are happy to bring you a New-Blast of hops with our long time buddies, Aslin Beer ...Co. On a cellular level a Neoblast is a master of adaptation, rebuilding, and regeneration. These cells come together and are responsible for repair and stabilization. Much like an actual Neoblast, we used Yakima Chief Hops Survivable hop blend in the whirlpool which allows the hop compounds to withstand the high temps of the brewing process, aggressive microbes, rapid bubbles trying to take precious hop oils into the air, and get more flavor into your glass. This is the next step from the our recent favorite release, Hydrophilic. A base of flaked oats and flaked wheat were used prior to the whirlpool of the Survivable hop blend and a dry hop of Idaho 7, Sabro, Sultana, and Citra. Neoblast pours hazy yellow with aromas of pineapple fruit cocktail, navel orange, and hop fields. Deep flavors of mango, papaya, cantaloupe, pineapple in syrup, and coconut chips, with a touch of wild berry and pine packed into a creamy tropical fruit blast and out signature #EQjuice finish. One more beer to come!

Please follow individual State limits for delivery. dHop31 is our newest experiment that looks at pulling EQJuice precursors from the whirl pool in an effort to pull an even juicier p...rofile. It starts off with flaked oats and flaked wheat for a creamy base and uses an experimental whirlpool, similar to what we used on some recent collabs, but with altered ratios. To switch things even further we dry hopped this beer with Strata and Galaxy. This beer explodes with flavors of dank mango, zippy passion fruit, bright honeydew, peach gummy rings and fresh berries, with a touch of weed before an escalating rainbow melon finish known as our #EQjuice. Flavors of rich caramel swirl fudge bars and melted vanilla cream meet toasted almond bars and scoops of marshmallow fluff. Today at 12 PM we will sell both, OG’s Axe Batch 2 (8.0% DIPA $20 per 4pk) and OG’s Vengeance (10.0% TIPA $22 Per 4 pk) both collaborations with Fidens Brewing Company. These are available for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, Kentucky, and Virginia! OG Kyle is constantly chopping down hop monsters to bring everyone delicious monster hop liquid, a concept we joked ...about when Fidens came to visit a few months ago. Today, we continue the series and also scale up. For the TIPA version, OG gets his Vengeance against all the hop monsters trying to overrun his brew deck and fermenters. OG can be seen victoriously holding his axe covered in delicious hop resins after his win. Be careful with that Axe, OG! OG’s Axe starts off with an enormous base of oats before adding Citra, Strata, and Galaxy. Pouring hazy yellow with aromatic pops of pineapple, cannabis, citrus, and crushed berry you’ll notice flavors of papaya, mango, weed, and passionfruit exploding into a creamy, dank, and thick popsicle finish lined with #EQjuice. This beer is liquid Pineapple Express. OG’s Vengeance scales everything we love about OG’s Axe and sends it into a Triple version, increasing the malt bill and hopping rate making it one of our biggest yet. We get similar flavors but enhanced melon notes, Aussie lime, smarties, bright citrus, a deep round guava passionfruit presence, with a big creamy body that might make you think you’re drinking a huge cornucopia of tropical fruit smoothies with a lime wedge on the glass. Both of these are straight juice and as we mention last time around, we don’t recommend holding sharp objects after consumption and it would be unwise to challenge OG.

Chris, our Logistics Lead, who is also one of our funniest team members, and top Griselda Records fan is giving us his best model pose while holding our team’s favorite rotational.
