Calacatta Marble comes from the plentiful quarries of Carrara, Italy. For this reason it is often confused with White Carrara. Despite there abundant similarities, they are not the same. This natural stone is very white with thick substantial veins that come in a variety of colors, from beige to regal gold. It was said to be Michaelangelo's favorite stone to use for sculptures. It was also used in many beautiful buildings. Calacatta is widely used for bathrooms and in kitchens. But be careful, it is sensitive in nature and requires some maintenance. A classic and timeless look that is unmatched.
