One of the most amazing experiences of my life was tracing my family heritage back to this region. Discovering and reconnecting with the family that is still there was nothing short of a dream come true! What a beautiful culture and area of the world, but most of all what kind and beautiful people. So fascinating how alike family can be, regardless of miles or generational gaps. I grew up with some of the same recipes from this very village! So many things familiar from a pla...ce so far away. The connection was almost immediate and irrefutable. It was simply miraculous. When I arrived in Rešov, I knew I had found family and a part of my heart forever returned home.
