Please take a minute to help make our roads safer for cyclists by following this link and showing your support for this bill. Currently, it is up to drivers to decide what is a "safe distance" to maintain while passing cyclists. If this bill passes, the traffic law will be amended to require that drivers pass cyclists at a distance of "not less than three feet".

I am once again asking for you to bring your bicycle to Evergreen Bicycle Works for a tune up in order to avoid having to leave your bike in the spring when you could be out riding.

Keeping busy, but we still have plenty of time for your bike. Is yours tuned and ready to ride? Did you take care of that noise that was bothering you all summer? Did you get those worn tires replaced? Have you checked your brake pad and chain wear? Have your brakes been bleed and suspension serviced? When was the last time you had it in for an overhaul? If the answer is no, if you’re unsure when you last had your bike in for service, or if you don’t even know why or how ofte...n a bike needs to be serviced - stop in or send us a message. We’d be happy to talk about it with you. And as always, estimates are free, so don’t hesitate to bring your bike in anytime during business hours - no appointment necessary.

Rainy days are the perfect time to stop in for a gift card! Gift card sales in the winter help to ensure we can stock up on the tools, parts, and accessories we will need to keep you rolling in the spring, summer, and fall. Nothing in the repair stands this afternoon while we work on organizing inventory and other projects around the shop, but that means it’s a great time to drop off a bike for service. Tomorrow we’ll be back at it with a full day of brake bleeds and suspension service (just because we are closed during the week doesn’t mean the work stops). Many parts and accessories are still hard to come by. If you bring your bike in now that gives us time to get them in and on your bike in time for spring riding. The spring rush this year is going to be unprecedented - don’t wait!
