Fairport Music Festival

The traditional Fairport Music Festival was a pandemic casualty with just about everything else in 2020. In an effort to continue our support of the Golisano Children’s Hospital, we organized some Pop-Up Music Events a somewhat spontaneous burst of music and fun on a small scale: in backyards, parking lots, video streams, and controlled music venues. There were sponsor opportunities, apparel sales, food trucks and donations collected. We had loyal volunteers, generous mus...ic fans, and bands - all supporting the cause. As a result of these many events and accompanying efforts, the Fairport Music Festival was able to present a check to Golisano Children’s Hospital for $75,827.21 !!!! We are overwhelmed, humbled, and thankful for your incredible continued support of our event(s) especially in this very difficult year. Simply amazing. We hope to see you next year in whatever form the 2021 Fairport Music Festival may take either our large-scale festival or the Pop-Up Series. Please stay safe and Happy Holidays!

Another outstanding FMF ‘Pop Up’ Event on Saturday afternoon in the Lanaray Park neighborhood. The Mask-Debaters - made up of: Rob Smith , Mike Gladstone, Pete Griffith and Sam Klotz ) performed a long and awesome set of music. Smokin’ Hot Chicks BBQ served up delicious food - including the ‘FMF Get It Cup’ and also sold bottles of their signature sauce. Donations were collected for FMF/ Golisano Children's Hospital and they totaled an eye popping $6534 (Poche Ponce !!!) ! Another great FMF ‘Pop Up’ Event on Friday evening at a cool piece of property along Whitney Road. Pete Griffith and Katy Eberts teamed up to entertain the crowd with an awesome set of music. Donations were collected for FMF/ Golisano Children's Hospital and they totaled an amazing $911 ! Thank you to Lori Mulligan and family for hosting their second ‘Pop Up’ and to all who attended and contributed- much appreciated !! It was a great start to the weekend. An excellent FMF ‘Pop Up’ Event Sunday afternoon in York. B42K entertained the crowd with 80’s and 90’s rock including a timely Van Halen tune. J & T’s Pizza Corner served up some delicious subs and slices. Donations were collected for FMF/ Golisano Children's Hospital and they totaled an incredible $2300 !
