Our growing season has begun again folks! And for those of you who know our Farm Family, you know that the word Growing represents more than just the veggies. From our farm stand at the old bank parking lot on N. Main St, to moving indoors just steps down the sidewalk from where we started. With the new space at that time, we had the opportunity to add the love and hard work of over 40 LOCAL producers into our loving walls. It didn’t take long for our community to embr...ace the healthy goodness that this local movement was becoming, and before long, we realized that a community hub grew to be. Now with endless fresh & local produce, made to order juices/smoothies, homemade soups, gourmet sandwiches, bakery, deli, & grocery/specialty items, we are proud to announce that with the love and support of YOU our Beloved Community, we are about to grow once again. Introducing........ the next phase of the JFF/Southern ADK movement. Reopening in just weeks from now, we are proud to announce that we will be utilizing 2 store fronts on Main St as ONE. At The Johnsons Family Farm Store you will find a complete healthy market and cafe. All of what we’ve offered before plus LOTS more! All of this growth became possible and has happened thanks to all of you! As you’ve heard us say many of times, this is a huge team effort. A store like this could have never grown to be what it is today without the love and support of all of YOU, our beloved community. It takes a whole team movement to create such a hub as this. Welcome to the revolution... individuals creating communities that support local farms and businesses! While this isn’t actually a revolution(just the bases of civilization) to us at JFF it’s incredibly humbling and a great honor to be supported by so many amazing families and individuals. People from all walks of life, with differences and similarities, all coming together to support healthy, stable, and delicious food production. It is our honor, and Thank You!! This has ...been a top production year on the farm and it has shown in the bounty of the 2020 farm share. Sign ups for 2021 Farm shares are happening now, first come first served. Farm share programs, as well as weekly patronage are the most significant ways to prop up local food production. If you don’t do it with us do it with your favorite local Farm. The Farm store is exploding with abundance. Fall crops galore as well as some beautiful hold overs from summer. Current hours are, Thursday-Friday 10-6 Saturday 10-5 Sunday 11:30-4 Monday-Wednesday closed. Local Turkey and pie orders are being taken for your Thanksgiving celebrations. Here we are again folks. Autumn bounty has arrived, while our Summer Bounty is holding onto its sweet season as long as mother nature will allow. Stop in in and enjoy some of of our final tastes of summer, or dive right into Autumn with winter squash, apples, pears, concord grapes, Mums, corn stalks, Homemade Soup, Gourmet Sammiches, lots a love, Excellent Music, and SO much more! Hey Kids, we are in the peek of ADK farm season now through the next 4 weeks so come and get it. All the veggies, peaches, plums, and local apples are in. The corn and tomatoes cannot be beat. The bakery is kicking out the best baguettes this side of France, and all of the organic coffee, tea and health foods are stocked. Banging samiches and soups for you lunch or dinners.
