There are two Zoom meetings for the German Genealogy Community coming up in October 2020. Please see the attached flier and registration form for the presentations on 10/17 and 10/24.

The Polish Genealogical Society sent this announcment: hursday, October 8th at 7 pm is PGSNYS next general meeting. Jeanette Sheliga will be presenting The ‘D’ in B-M-D (BMD stands for Birth Marriage and Death records). We will also have a short business meeting to discuss the upcoming 2021 Officer Election. We will not be meeting in person this month, but rather we will be meeting online using ZOOM. Everyone is invited to join, you do not need to be a PGSNYS member. Meeting ID: 862 3447 2352 Passcode: 426887 The PGSNYS 2021 will be held at our November 12th meeting. For 2021, the current vice-president and treasurer are term-limited and the secretary has declined to run again. Three trustee positions will also be vacant. PGSNYS members who wish to be considered for any Board of Directors position should submit their name and a brief description of their background to the nominating committee through the Society email address ([email protected]). In order to be considered as a candidate, you must be a member in good standing (dues paid for a minimum of the six (6) months prior to the November elections) and have attended at least three Society meetings/programs in that same time period.
