Business doesn't look the same this year as I changed my mission and vision to focus on giving back to the community in partnership with Kids @ Promise here in Dunkirk, NY. I held my first class last night and taught my students how to make home made Buttercream frosting with some take home Honey Fudge! I am looking forward to this upcoming Friday's class with the middleschoolers! ... Thank you Dunkirk and Kids @ Promise for making me feel at home and giving me this opportunity!

I am going to be 100% honest. I was preparing to sell all my baking supplies when my family and I return to Iowa to pack up our home. Everything I worked for. I couldn't picture what Filled with Love was not being in Iowa where I started my business.... I was unable to see Filled with Love surviving. Dave White, Director for 2XL program, in Dunkirk, NY offered me a purpose. I will be offering a Filled with Love baking program here at 2XL for youth in the program.
