It’s Earth Day 2021!!! We do not have anything special planned, but for the past 20 years Fingar Insurance has been committed to reducing paper used in our operations. Many of our insureds have opted to go paperless and we are able to access records directly from our companies through secured lines. We also shred what little sensitive mail we receive which gets recycled and we recycle junk mail, cardboard boxes, etc. We do this because it is the right thing to do - it saves... paper and saves money so it truly is a win/win situation. So, Happy Earth Day and know we are continually striving to reduce the amount of waste we consume.

Happy International Woman's Day! Who is your favorite female historical figure? Being a bit of a history buff my favorite is Joan of Arc. At the age of 16 in 15th century, Joan inspired and led an army of men against the English. It's difficult today to imagine the hardships women have to face but in the 15th century they didn't even have penicillin! Joan's story is one of strength and perseverance and one icon we can all look up to.
